The biggest threat now is not Radical Islam. It is “Apocalyptic Islam.” Let me explain. (Excerpts from my address to the National Religious Broadcasters Convention)

(Nashville, Tennessee) — Yesterday, the Christian Post published the following article: “ISIS, Iran Are Agents of ‘Apocalyptic Islam’ Paving Way for ‘Islamic Messiah,’ Says NYT Bestselling Author.” I hope you will take a few moments to read it and consider the analysis.

Last night, I discussed this subject in more detail at the closing dinner of the National Religious Broadcasters convention. Here are excerpts from those remarks. I also promised to post stunning research data on the End Times beliefs of Muslims from a 2012 Pew Research Center study. You will find those numbers below.

The threat we face is not simply from Radical Islam. Indeed, it not even primarily from Radical Islamic groups like Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and al Qaeda at this hour, as serious as these threats are.

The most serious threat we face in the Middle East and…

Look at them!

Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

As laborers, we are sent into the four corners of the earth. The vast sea of lost humanity weighs heavy upon us.

“Look! Don’t be deceived by appearances—men and things are not what they seem. All who are not on the rock are in the sea! Look at them from the standpoint of the great White Throne, and what a sight you have! Jesus Christ, the Son of God is, through His Spirit, in the midst of this dying multitude, struggling to save them. And He is calling on you to jump into the sea—to go right away to His side and help Him in the holy strife. Will you jump? That is, will you go to His feet and place yourself absolutely at His disposal?” William Booth

2 plus 2 equals 4.

Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

“The issue is not our emotions or our preferences. The issue is truth. Sincerity in religious matters is never enough. We do not doubt the sincerity of those who follow Islam or Hinduism. We admire them for their dedication to what they believe. But sincerity only matters when it is applied to the proper object. You can be sincerely wrong and you will still be wrong. You can sincerely drink rat poison and you will be sincerely dead. Believing the wrong thing doesn’t make it right. All truth is narrow. Years ago we all learned that 2 + 2 = 4. It doesn’t equal 5 or 3, no matter how sincere you are.” Ray Pritchard

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Fearful to open-air preach.

Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

Always keep in mind that you will never be free from fear, especially just before you get up to open-air preach. Overcome it through thoughts of the fate of the ungodly, the sacrifice of the cross, and the fact that God is watching you. I have known men who said that it was less fearful for them to skydive for the first time than to open-air preach. So think of the worst-case scenario if something goes wrong with both. In skydiving, if the parachute fails to open or becomes twisted, you fall to an unspeakably terrifying death. In open-air preaching, you may make a fool of yourself and dent your ego. There is no comparison. So just do it, and God will be with you.

BREAKING: President caving to Iranian nuclear demands, despite poll showing 80% of Americans fear “Second Holocaust” if Iran gets The Bomb. What should our policy towards Iran’s nuclear program be?

Joel C. Rosenberg's Blog

MEME-SecondHolocaust(Nashville, Tennessee) — The American people overwhelming fear a nuclear holocaust if Iran is permitted to develop their nuclear program and build atomic warheads, according to exclusive polling data I have commissioned.

The policy of the United States and world community towards the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear program should be:

  • No possession of enriched uranium whatsoever — turn over all such material to the IAEA to be removed from the country; only retain what is being used to run peaceful nuclear reactors
  • No uranium enrichment whatsoever — and full dismantlement of enrichment facilities and equipment
  • No plutonium development whatsoever
  • No purchase, building or testing of nuclear weapons, or components and technologies to build such weapons whatsoever
  • No ICBM development, testing or deployment whatsoever
  • No material support of terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, Hamas, etc whatsoever
  • Vigorous and consistent inspections by the IAEA
  • Or else the international community which impose crushing economic…

The Ultimate Avenger.

Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

“It was the avenger’s right and duty to slay the murderer (2 Sam. 14:7,11) if he found him outside of a city of refuge. In order that this law might be guarded against abuse, Moses appointed six cities of refuge (Ex. 21:13; Num. 35:13; Deut. 19:1,9). These were in different parts of the country, and every facility was afforded the manslayer that he might flee to the city that lay nearest him for safety.

The avenger was forbidden to follow him into the city of refuge. This arrangement applied only to cases where the death was not premeditated. The case had to be investigated by the authorities of the city, and the willful murderer was on no account to be spared. He was regarded as an impure and polluted person, and was delivered up to the [avenger] (Deut. 19:11–13).”

God is the ultimate Avenger of blood. He will see…

What does ISIS want? To usher in the End of Days. Here’s the short version. (Must-read article in The Atlantic)

(Nashville, Tennessee) — Are the leaders and ground forces of the Islamic State driven by an apocalyptic, End of Days theology? If so, does President Obama and his administration understand this?

I was asked these questions on Fox News yesterday. (To watch the video or read the transcript, please click here)

Here’s the short version:

  • Yes, ISIS and its supreme leader — Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — is consumed by a Radical Sunni Islamic version of eschatology, or End Times theology.
  • No, the President and his senior team do not see this, and this is one of the most serious mistakes they are making. We cannot defeat an enemy we refuse to define. I realize eschatology is a topic foreign — even bizarre — to most political, military and intelligence officials. But to truly understand what ISIS…

Seared Conscience.

Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

Some people don’t feel guilty when they sin because they have “seared” their conscience. Repeated sin sears the conscience until its muffled voice is no longer heard. This is a tragedy because the conscience in the voice of warning. Those who delight in sin, because they have dulled their conscience, are like a man who removes the batteries from his smoke detector because he doesn’t want to be bothered by its alarm.

To awaken a deadened conscience, simply take the person through the Law. Address the conscience directly by saying, “You know it’s wrong to lie, steal, commit adultery, etc.” As you do so, the conscience will confirm the truth of the Commandments. Always preach the Law along with future punishment, then pray that the Holy Spirit will come convict the person of sin, righteousness, and judgment to come.

Why does Jordan’s Muslim King say our enemy is Radical Islam but President Obama won’t? Here’s my interview on Fox News.

Joel C. Rosenberg's Blog

Joel-FoxJordanShannon(Nashville, Tennessee) — Why is that President Obama refuses to define our enemy as “Radical Islam,” yet Muslim leaders like Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Egypt’s President el-Sisi very honestly and publicly state that this fight is, in fact, a showdown with Radical Muslims and that we all must take action to fight these jihadists theologically as well as militarily?

Consider the headlines of just the past few days:

The Commander-in-Chief’s repeated refusal to explain who the enemy is constitutes a foolish and dangerous decision. We cannot defeat an enemy we cannot…

The Place of Mercy

Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

The horns of the altar were the place of mercy:

“The laying hold upon the literal horns of an altar, which can be handled, availed not Joab. There are many—oh, how many still!—that are hoping to be saved, because they lay hold, as they think, upon the horns of the sacraments. Men of unhallowed life, nevertheless, come to the sacramental table, looking for a blessing. Do they not know that they pollute it? Do they not know that they are committing a high sin, and a great misdemeanor against God, by coming amongst his people, where they have no right to be? And yet they think that by committing this atrocity they are securing to themselves safety. How common it is to find in this city, when an irreligious man is dying, that someone will say, ‘Oh, he is all right; for a clergyman has been, and given him the…
