Great wickedness.

Ray Comfort's Daily Evidence

Jeroboam made two golden calves in direct violation of God’s Law, and told the people to worship them (see 1 Kings 12:25–33). John Wesley spoke of this sin as “an occasion of great wickedness, not only of idolatry, which is called sin by way of eminency; nor only of the worship of the calves, wherein they pretended to worship the true God; but also of the worship of Baal, and of the utter desertion of the true God; and of all sorts of impiety.”

2 Kings 13:2 And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin. He did not depart from them.
